Johan gets energy from being active in commercial environments. For the last 4 years as an entrepreneur, one of his long-cherished dreams. Johan combines his project work, with building commercial SME propositions and providing commercial coaching and training to board members. The foundation for this has been laid throughout his time as a consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners, as well as his business experience at Nationale-Nederlanden before that.
Clients appreciate Johan’s in-depth pricing knowledge, combined with his ability to translate this in comprehensive frameworks and business trade-offs. While doing this, Johan has a good understanding of relevant business dynamics at hand.
Johan is educated as an Economist at Tilburg University and a member of the Professional Pricing Society.
Johan is registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under Commercieel Verbeteren.
Jonathan has over 10 years of experience in pricing and commercial excellence. He was a Director at Simon-Kucher & Partners in Amsterdam, where he advised companies in different industries, from start-ups to multinationals, across Europe and the US. Later, he joined the Radisson Hotel Group as Senior Director Revenue Development, where he was responsible for all strategic initiatives relating to revenue, pricing and forecasting. Then, he co-founded Surpricing with Johan in 2020.
He studied Mechanical Engineering at Delft University of Technology and International Business at Maastricht University. He was born and raised in Spain from Dutch parents and is native in Spanish and Dutch.
